Handi Quilter Machine Rental

Always wanted to quilt your own quilts?  

The Avante' has an 18" throat and allows you to complete your projects in less time.  We offer a class that walks you through how to thread your machine, tension setting, bobbin winding and tension, loading and unloading of your quilt, as well as instruction in basic freehand design, pantographs, and groovy boards.  

This class costs $125.00 for 3 hours and includes your first hour of individual time free.  You will use our materials to practice on.  As soon as you are ready you can load your own quilt and start working on your work of art.   

After your first class, just schedule a time to use the machine.  Rental time is $20 an hour with a two hour minimum.  There is a $10 thread charge or you can purchase your own.  We have a variety of colors to choose from in the shop.  We also carry batting and backing material.  

The HQ Sweet Sixteen is available to quilters who like free motion quilting or prefer to sit down.

This machine is a sit down model and is perfect for anyone who wants to free motion quilt.  The throat space is much larger than your home machine which makes quilting your projects that much easier.  

The first hour of rental for this machine is $50.  During this time we will give you a lesson in how to thread the machine, set the tension, and use Tru-Stitch to regulate your stitch length.  You will use our materials during instruction time but as soon as you feel confident you can switch to your own project.  

After the first hour the charge is $15.00 per hour with a two hour minimum.  We have a $10 thread charge or your welcome to buy your own.  We have a variety of colors to choose from in the shop.  To save time bring your quilt basted and ready to go or baste it in the shop.
